Dear Father,

Loving God, living faith, serving others. This is the commitment of First Baptist Church of Alexandria, VA as expressed on their website.  Father, these words sound like what would make three excellent sections of a testimony.  A testimony is about love for You, about trusting You in difficult times in life, and about serving others from the thankful spirit in our hearts.  I thank You for leading those who designed this church website to share their commitment with us.

I also thank You for the commitment of this church to serving others.  May Your blessings be on their ministries with Carpenter’s Shelter, Bethany House of Northern Virginia, ALIVE! (furniture delivery), and Meals on Wheels.

Dear Father,

I thank You that Grace Church of Alexandria VA has shared on their website the sermon series entitled “Spreading God’s Fame”.

That’s what testimony-sharing is – spreading God’s fame!  We tell about what He has done in our lives, rescuing us from all kinds of trials and troubles.

Father, I ask that You create more testimonies in Grace Church.  Encourage people within the congregation to share their testimonies with the despairing in Alexandria.  Father, please bless their commitment to blogging, that lives will be touched by the words they share with others.
