Dear Father,
On the Redeemer Church website, they write:
“Quite simply, we’re a redemptive community on a journey. People from all walks of life, imperfect and messy lives, are pursuing and experiencing a transformational relationship with Jesus and friendships with each other.”
Yes! We all have imperfect and messy lives. We experience all kinds of adversity, often because we live in a broken world. However, we also make mistakes. We make choices that are contrary to Your will for our lives. It can get messy!
That’s why I thank You for Redeemer’s wording on their website.
I pray that people with messy lives from the communities of Albany, Rome, and Utica NY are drawn to Redeemer. Bring them in! Bring them in through Celebrate Recovery! Bring in the refugees! Bless their engagement with the Compassion Coalition!
I ask Father that You inspire people within this congregation to share their testimonies on the church website. Give them courage. Glorify Yourself. So that the despairing in the community can be transformed by Your love.
