Authenticity. The world is looking for authenticity. People want to believe that what Your people claim about You is true. You really do rescue people from difficult times.
I thank You that Calvary Church of Lancaster PA has made authenticity one of their key values.
Growing With God’s People – By relating authentically with others for their good and my growth. Am I cultivating intentional relationships for growth?
The church has another value. They want their people to contribute to Your transforming work.
Going Into God’s World – By extending the Gospel to others right here and around the globe. Am I actively participating in God’s transforming work in the world?
Father, I pray that You will encourage members of the congregation to be authentic, participating by sharing their story of how You have transformed their lives. May they share their testimonies with one another, understanding more and more how You love every life. I pray that members of the congregation will share their testimonies with the public. As You lead and in Your time.
