Dear Father,
I thank You for the encouragement for me to learn that Bethel Chapel Church has a GED ministry! You are a God who meets people compassionately at their point of need and for many in Philadelphia, a GED is their greatest need. A high school diploma is essential for so much that an individual needs in life. Thank You for inspiring the people of this church to offer a ministry to help people earn their GED equivalency. We pray Your continued blessing on this ministry in Kensington, Philadelphia, and that it can continue to be free.
We also ask Lord that You will provide a new roof for the church. A roof in need of repair can create additional costs and perhaps even health hazards that can negatively impact ministries the church offers to the community. We pray that You will provide an affordable replacement roof and that You will do so before damage occurs.
I ask Lord that You will raise up people in this church who You have authored wonderful testimonies in their lives. Encourage them to share their story with others, especially with strangers who don’t know anyone whom You have restored.
