Dear Father,
I discovered the Downcity Church of Providence RI website. I love their statement about secret of “happiness”.
Downcity Church is a growing group of people who have learned by experience that real happiness in life is found when you trust in God, give your heart to Him, and obey Him. So many people are unsatisfied, or anxious, or bitter about life, and it’s because they haven’t learned the secret of it. The secret of deep, sustained happiness is a right relationship with God. We are so thankful for Jesus Christ and want all our friends to know about Him, because He has brought us to God and is giving us genuine life and happiness through the gospel.
I ask that You find unsatisfied, anxious, and bitter people throughout America and deliver to them sustained happiness through their right relationship with You. May they then be chomping at the bit to share their story with others, preferably on their church’s website.
