Prayers and Volunteering for Ministries Across the US
Dear Father, thank You for the uplifting video on the Touching Hearts at Home website, a service to show compassion, love, and care to senior citizens. I believe You are the inspiration for all such ministries. You see needs and You inspire people to fill those needs. I pray Your blessings on their service – for wisdom, resources, devoted and compassionate caregivers, clients whose lives will be transformed, and Your honor. Amen
Dear Father,
I thank You that Church of the Savior has been such a light for the love of Jesus Christ in the suburbs of Philadelphia for so many decades now. I thank You for their spirit of compassion for those who are struggling in life. I ask Your blessings on their counseling, crisis care, visitation, meals, job transitions, urban, widows, orphan care, and cancer care ministries. Blessings? For more and more evidence that their ministries are transforming lives, giving people hope, rescuing people from despair. I pray the stories You write in people’s lives will give evidence to the people of Wayne and the surrounding communities that no matter how difficult life is, there is hope in You.
Dear Father,
Regardless of events taking place in this world, you are at work, rescuing people from despair in every corner of this globe.
There are people in Philadelphia who are discouraged this hour. They are struggling with hopelessness, suffering through various adversities. I pray You will bring them to City Church of Philadelphia PA and overwhelm them with the love of Christ. May they connect with Your compassion, mercy, and grace in a life transforming way through the ministries of City Church, including their services to international students, the homeless, the community, refugees, and patients in hospitals. I ask, Father, that you write more stories, more testimonies of Your love, at City Church and may those stories of hope be heard by the despairing.

I thank You for the work of Providence Church in Chester County PA. I thank You for their commitment to prayer, dedicating staff to it! Prayer is the acknowledgement that we need You, that we cannot be our own god. This church is setting an example.
I pray for Your blessings on their various ministries. I ask that You will take somebody who is despairing of life this very hour and bring them to the church. Bring them through their counseling ministry. Bring them through their Prov Steps ministry. I pray that You will author new stories of hope through this church, wonderful testimonies of transformation of people from despair to joy. May those stories be shared with people throughout the county who feel like they can’t live another hour.

I thank you for inspiring Abundant Life Bible Church to position such a warm greeting to visitors on the front page of their website.
Everyone has purpose. Is valued. Is accepted. Is invited.
I ask today that you bless that statement. May visitors to their website read it and may that cause them to explore Your love further. May people who are broken and hurting come into Abundant Life Bible Church because of such a warm greeting.

What a pleasure to speak to the pastor at Ambler Church of the Brethern! Thank you for his words of encouragement about the calling you have given us at Gramazin. I ask for your blessings tomorrow on their executive team meeting as they look towards the future. I specifically ask you to answer the pastor’s prayer that they be the witness to the community and each other that you want them to be.
I ask Lord that you bring in the hurting and lost into this church. May they find rest from their adversities and suffering by experiencing the love of the folks at ACOB.
Dear Father,
I would like to thank you for the commitment of Hopewell Community Church to providing support for individuals recovering from addiction. They are putting into practice what you called us to do – love those who are struggling in life. Please save a life next week through their recovery program.
A representative of the church today asked for prayer for growth. Lord, please help the members of the church to grow spiritually and for the church to grow in the number of people who attend. I ask specifically that new attendees come from those who you have saved from adversity and suffering.

Thank you for the opportunity to speak with Pastor Phillip Waselik of Emmanuel Lutheran Church this afternoon. It was a pleasure.
I ask your blessings on his ministry. I ask that you will draw someone to your loving care through their food and clothing ministries, the school supplies they collect and distribute, and their support for people in crisis around the world.
The pastor asked specifically for more leaders to be called in the church. This is the second pastor who expressed such a desire today. Lord, pastors, like Phillip, have so much responsibility. They need people to help carry the load of leadership. May you grant Phillip this prayer request.

What an absolutely delightful conversation I just had on the phone with Martha Eischen of The Church of the Good Shepherd of Rosemont! What an example she set for a warm greeting and taking interest in another brother in Christ. Wow!
I lift up The Church of the Good Shepherd of Rosemont right now. They have been through some difficult years. They are fighting an uphill battle. Martha reports you did some painful house cleaning in the church but You have given them hope. I thank you for the report that the new shepherd at the church is a man full of God’s love. She asks that their ministry prospers for your glory and for their needs.
Dear Father,
Students from broken homes and dysfunctional families are attending schools all over the US. Many of these students are on a path towards self-destruction or hurting others. Many students are contemplating suicide.
We ask that you bless the teachers of the West Chester Area School District in Chester County Pennsylvania with opportunities to intervene and save children from ending or ruining their lives. Lord, we ask that the teachers will have insight and awareness of children in crisis, that they will have compassion, and that they will have the skill and determination to see those children land in a place of safety. We ask that, thanks to the work of teachers in this school district, children on the path towards addiction, crime, or life dysfunction will turn into students with a passion to do good in their careers and help others in need.
